With the recent flurry about Touch Revolution devices running Android, we couldn’t help but notice Wired’s speculation regarding the possibility of an Apple Tablet. Of course rumors about said tablet are not new, but we like the way Brian X Chen thinks about possible applications:

Indeed. Seems like this tablet would make a great replacement for some of the fancier home controllers from Crestron and such. If only it could interface with devices that receive infrared signals… now that would be something.
