Adam's appreciation for remote control harks back to the time when he was a wee lad visiting his grandparents. It seemed whenever the spent time watching TV he became the "human remote" — always asked to get up from the couch to change the channel. Of course TV’s back then were not conducive ready for the brave new world of the personal remote.
